I am presently practising at the CK Clinic, Chippenham, Wiltshire (Syms yard, Bumpers Farm, Bumpers Way, Chippenham SN14 6LH). It's a beautifully quiet and calm treatment room within a small health and wellness centre. It's easy to find... the best place to park is in the main car park with BMI and Wickes and then walk around the back of the building and we are just there. Parking is free.​​​​

Coming prepared 

 

Please come in loose easy to remove, comfortable, clothing. With acupuncture we use points all over the body and sometimes we don't always put needles where the site of the problem is, so loose clothing is helpful for me and comfortable for you.

Contraindications 

​

As with any medical treatment, there are certain contraindications for acupuncture treatments, please let me know if any of the below applies to you:

​

• Drug or alcohol intoxication

• Use of a pacemaker

• A seizure disorder

• Bleeding disorder such as hemophilia or use of blood thinners

• Infectious skin disorder or disease

And lastly please let me know if you are pregnant, or trying to get pregnant, needling in the abdominal and lumbosacral area should be avoided. There are also certain points eslewhere on the body which should not be needled.
